Ham House Charity Dog Walk
From 26 Mar 23 10:00 AM to 26 Mar 23 12:30 PM
Stretch your legs and their legs this lovely Sunday morning for our charity dog walk! In Aid of Wildlife aid is a wildlife rehabilitation and rescue centre based in Leatherhead, their aim is to help redress the balance between man & nature and to play a part in preserving our heritage for future generations to enjoy.
Starting off at The Anglers for a quick coffee and bap before commencing on our 3.5-mile circular walk from the stunning Thames lock, down to the Thames young mariners, around past Eel Pie Island, pass the historical Ham House and back to The Anglers for a well-deserved pint.
The Walk is almost entirely flat with no gradients to speak of, there are no gates or stiles on the route, but you will need to negotiate some generous staggered barriers ( these are wide enough for pushchairs). There are two flights of steps, but these can be avoided by using the ramps alongside. All the paths are tarmac or stone, meaning they are nice and firm all year round.
We are asking for a small charitable donation to go towards wildlife aid
