Charity Bookcase for FARA
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with the FARA Charity Book Shop in Teddington. We have donated a wall in the pub to the FARA Charity Book Shop to display books for patrons to read in return for a donation.
The wall, which is now fully stocked with donated books, offers a variety a fiction and non-fiction titles to keep patrons and visitors of all ages entertained during their visit to the pub and to take home if they wish. The donations collected through the use of the books will be given to the FARA Charity who help and support disadvantaged children.
Jemma Banks, Marketing Manager at FARA Charity Shops said “We were very excited when Mark approached us with the idea. FARA Books is a fabulous local resource and deserves to get further exposure in the local community. #loveyourlocal #communitycharity”
Anyone wishing to donate books to the FARA Charity Book Shop can do so directly at the Fara shop located at 34d Broad Street, Teddington. There is also now the facility to add them to the “drop in box” at the Anglers, Broom Road where they will then be passed directly to FARA.
For more information, download the press release.
For a full-on battle of wits, come down to The Anglers on Tuesday nights and pit your wits against the regular teams. If you're looking for the ultimate pub quiz in Teddington, look no further!
